Frequently Asked Questions

FairwayFinder aggregates DFW tee time prices from GolfNow, TeeOff, TeePack, and individual course sites so you can spot the cheapest rounds across the Metroplex. Here are the answers to the questions we hear most often from DFW golfers.

How real-time are FairwayFinder's tee time prices?

Our scrapers refresh tee time listings three times per day — at 00:00, 08:00, and 16:00 UTC. In the worst case, a price you see on FairwayFinder is roughly 6–8 hours old. For the freshest deals, head straight to Today's Deals, which is sorted using the most recent scrape.

What data sources does FairwayFinder pull from?

FairwayFinder aggregates tee time listings from GolfNow, TeeOff, TeePack, and individual DFW course websites. As of mid-2026, our GolfNow and TeeOff scraper endpoints have stopped returning data, so most current listings on the site are sample/seed data while we restore the upstream integrations. The scraper status endpoint reflects the current health of each source in real time.

How does FairwayFinder's pricing work?

We display the price exactly as each source lists it — including Hot Deals, twilight rates, and senior/junior discounts. When a course shows an original price with a strikethrough, that's the un-discounted rate pulled directly from the source. FairwayFinder never adds fees, surcharges, or markup on top of what the source charges.

Why are some DFW courses listed and others aren't?

Our directory currently covers 55+ courses across DFW, seeded from our public courses script. The list focuses on public, municipal, and partner-opted-in private courses. If a course you know isn't appearing, it's usually because no tee time inventory has loaded for the date you're searching — not because we excluded it. Course operators can request a listing via our partner page.

Do bookings go through FairwayFinder?

No. Every Book Now link on FairwayFinder opens the source site (GolfNow, TeeOff, TeePack, or the course's own booking page) where you complete payment and tee-time confirmation. FairwayFinder never handles payment, never takes a cut, and never sees your credit card. You're always booking directly with the source.

Can I get alerts when cheap rounds drop?

Yes — sign up with your email on the homepage, the deals page, or the deals blog post. You can subscribe to one area at a time (e.g. just Dallas or just Fort Worth) and we'll send you a short email when a round under $30 appears in that area. The signup is free and you can unsubscribe in one click from any email.

Does FairwayFinder cost anything?

FairwayFinder is 100% free for golfers — no booking fees, no subscription, no premium tier. We make money through unobtrusive display ads served on the search and deals pages via Google AdSense. Those ads can be disabled site-wide by setting ADS_ENABLED=false on the server.

What areas of DFW does FairwayFinder cover?

We organize DFW into seven sub-markets. Each area has its own browse page so you can see every course and the cheapest rounds in that sub-market:
